Donaire Want to Compete Pacquiao

Philippine bantamweight boxer, Nonito Donaire, will follow in the footsteps Manny Pacquiao to challenge the world champion from Mexico, Fernando Montiel, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Saturday (19/02/2011).

Donaire eyeing two titles at once from the Mexican boxer berisia 31 years who now holds the title of champion version of the World Boxing Commission (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).

In this fight, Donaire is more favored than his opponent. Montiel is the oldest world champion since 1999 and has a fight record of 44-2-2 with 34 knockout victories.

Montiel also a Mexican boxer who won four world titles from three different classes. He is aligned with his idol, the legendary boxer Julio Cesar Chavez.

Donaire has a fight record of 25-1 with 17 knockout victories. He came from General Santos City, which is also the hometown boxer Manny Pacquiao. Donaire beat boxer from Ukraine, Wladimiro Sidorenko, in the last fight.

The 28-year-old boxer is a former boxing world champion kite class. He has the right and left punches hard and is able to shed Sidorenko in 75 seconds.
