Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff, assess Lionel Messi is superior in technical ability than the Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo. Therefore, Cruyff believes Messi was the one who will shine in a duel "El Clasico" early day.
"He just played for four years, while others have played at least 14 years. So, he still had ten more years to show the same quality and hopefully get the same success,"said Cruyff told ESPN.
"Messi has the ability similar to Maradona, a player who has a remarkable individual skills. People will link the good players with the results they achieved in the course of his career and Maradona won the World Cup. That's what Messi has not got. But, for I, today Messi is a great player, "he continued.
However, in physical terms, Ronaldo can not be equated with Messi and Maradona. "It's hard I thought (compared to Ronaldo). Ronaldo is a player who has more physical, while I mentioned above not have a physical advantage, but purely to have a better technical ability,"explained this former Barca coach.
