Corinthians striker Adriano was accused as the mastermind behind the shooting of a woman aged 20 years. The woman was hit by a shot in the arm while sitting in the car while attending a party on Friday (23/12) morning.
Women named Adriane dos Pintos Cirilo was then taken to the Hospital Barra D'Or and receive emergency room care. The young woman said, Adriano was playing with 40-caliber handgun in the backseat of the vehicle when the gun fired a bullet at him. However, Adriano denied the incident.
"I was in the front seat, firing was conducted in the back seat," said the former striker Inter Milan and AS Roma was quoted as saying by Globoesporte.
Adriane is now in stable condition in hospital, but must undergo further tests on Saturday (24/12) and may need surgery because the bullets are causing a broken bone in his left hand.
Adriano and Corinthians both sides have commented on the incident. And Adriano said he would not give information to the police because they thought the incident could occur due to the presence of her at the party.
