Rafael Nadal must finish heating towards Wimbledon when he lost 7-6, 4-6, 1-6 quarter-final at Queen's Club championship by French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday.
World number one Spaniard, who equal the record holds the French Open six times last week, apparently heading for the semi-finals when he won the first set tie break, but it seems to weaken when the fifth seed Tsonga took control.
One hit a long volley help Tsonga picked up two break points when the position 4-4 in the second set and when Nadal hit too long, the match started smoothly on the night of the light.
Tsonga broke Nadal at Wimbledon champion at the beginning of the decider and once there was nothing left when he slumped in defeat.
Tsonga will be against a wildcard player from England, James Ward, who beat France, Adrian Mannarino, 6-2, 6-7 (14/16) 6-4 to win a place in the final on Sunday.
