Saudi Arabia Appoint Rijkaard as New coach

Frank Rijkaard's career that had stopped for a year will be continued in the MiddleEast region. This is after he agreed to handle the national team of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia has not had a coach since the 2011 Asian Cup failure in the past.Actually, the local football federation Ricardo Gomes has been appointed to replaceNasser Al Johar, but failed.

Now after searching for six months, the Arab was eventually dropped his choice toRijkaard, who for the second time in his career held the national team. Earlier in the year 1998 to 2002, Rijkaard became coach of the Dutch national team.

As reported by Yahoosports, Rijkaard will be contracted for three years by paying a total of 11 million United States dollars. A huge amount but certainly not a problem forrich countries like Saudi Arabia.

The last time was at the Galatasaray coach Rijkaard 2009/2010 season but did notlasted well. Obtained when the peak of his career dealing with Barcelona where hewon two 48-year La Liga titles and one Champions League trophy in mid 2003 to 2008.
