The St. Louis Rams will join a rising list of squads set to host training camp at home this summer, the team declared Monday.
For the 2nd year in a row, the Rams will arrange camp at their Russell Training Center in St. Louis, on dates and times to be announced. The team coached in Mequon, Wis., Earlier the 2009 season.
St. Louis joins 3 other teams selecting to stick close to home in an offseason broke up by the NFL lockout, now in its 5th month.
The New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets moved out-of-town camps to their team facilities.
The Giants informed the University at Albany on July 8 that they would not be coming back this year because of the doubtfulness surrounding the league's labor problems.
In June, the Ravens canceled their camp at Winchester, Md., and the Jets called off their training camp at SUNY-Cortland in central NY.
