Cech Believe Torres will come good

Cech is confident Torres' jaw-dropping miss versus MU won't prove a fatal setback in the striker's bid to shake off his dreadful run in front of goal.

Chelsea's 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford yesterday saw Fernando Torres back to his best in every honour apart from his finishing. The £50million man did lastly manage to net the 2nd goal of his 24-match Blues career, with a well-taken effort at the start of the 2nd half, but he should have had a hat-trick and created one of the worst open-goal howlers in EPL history after brilliantly rounding De Gea.

Cech stated: "This is one thing in football game that happens and what he can remember is he played really well and scored a great goal. I can see every time the guy is bettering. At Stoke, he had a magnificent match and was unlucky not to score.

"The last match, he produced both goals versus Leverkusen and against MU he made a huge opportunity for Ramires in the 1st half, which if he had left for Sturridge, it would have been a simple tap-in. He also scored a outstanding goal and then got himself some other chance and, unfortunately, I do not know what happened. But I'm not worried about it, he will score goals." Cech added.
