Olympique Lyonnais president Jean-Michel Aulas, hinting at left-back Aly Cissokho could leave Stade Gerland in January. The decision was in an effort to suppress wages Lyon players for the sake of stabilizing finances.
Lyon's is introducing cost-cutting measures expenditures since last summer. This indicates Lyon ready to release some star players in January 2012.
Cissokho, who also was associated with a summer transfer, has emerged as one of the players are ready for sale. Moreover, the two clubs, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund has openly admitted his interest.
"We have brought Mouhamadou Dabo to replace Cissokho," said Aulas told OLTV.
Price of 8 million euros would be pegged to Cissokho while waiting for a serious buyer. That said, some Russian clubs were started hinting interest.
