Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos, said get-well to his counterpart in the Spanish national team, striker David "El Guaje" Villa, who injured the left tibia fracture, while defending Barcelona in Club World Cup semi-final match, against Al-Sadd, in International Stadium Yokohama on Thursday (12/15/2011).
"Serious injury happened to his teammates (national) David Villa. Stay spirit and strong 'Guaje'. Hopefully get well," Ramos said through his Twitter account.
Meanwhile, coach Josep "Pep" Guardiola said, Villa will soon return to Barcelona to undergo surgery as soon as possible. According to him, Villa will take a long time to recover.
"David had a broken leg and will return to Barcelona to undergo surgery as soon as possible. He will be sidelined for long. All players worry about Villa. We hope he returns as soon as possible. We have to win the Club World Cup without him," said Pep.
Against Al-Sadd, Pep lowering Villa as a starter. However, due to injury, Villa replaced Alexis Sanchez in the 37th minute.
