Kevin Garnett Buy AS Roma Stocks

AS Roma confirmed that Boston Celtics NBA star, Kevin Garnett had bought a small stake Giallorossi. As reported Associoated Press on Saturday (31.12.2011), Garnett received an offer from his business partner James Pallotta from Boston to invest in the Serie A club. Pallotta is one of four owners of Roma from the United States who purchased a majority stake in Roma last summer.

35-year-old basketball player has become the second NBA player to buy soccer club shares after the Miami Heat star LeBron James to invest in Liverpool earlier this year. James attended his first match at Anfield in October when the Reds face Manchester United a 1-1 draw.

Over the past few years, the former Minnesota Timberwolves player who plays as a power forward has expressed interest in the football world by expressing Chelsea and Didier Drogba as a club and a player favorite.
