NBA's Los Angeles Lakers Forward, Pau Gasol had to rest because of a fractured right leg injury.
This was disclosed by the management of the Lakers, Wednesday (7/2). Gasol suffered the injury while playing for the Lakers win over Brooklyn on Wednesday.
But the Lakers did not say how long Gasol should break. Spaniard will meet with team doctors on Thursday (7/2) to set the recovery plan.
"I hope to recover as soon as possible so can join with team and fight to the end season," wrote Gasol through his twitter on Wednesday.
Lakers now find a new form of the game by winning six of their last seven games. They are now entrenched in the top ten and it took a few more wins to qualify for the safety zone in the top eight to qualify for the playoffs.
The Lakers are now also in a state crippled by loss of Dwight Howard and Metta World Peace.
