Tatyana Kotova Suspended For Doping

Russian long jumper Tatyana Kotova temporarily Suspended after failing a doping test at the Helsinki world championships 2005, says Russian anti-doping agency (RUSADA) on Friday.
   
"IAAF World Athletics Board (International Association of Athletics Federations) has started an investigation after receiving information from the anti-doping laboratory in Lausanne, which has ensured that Tatyana Kotova tested positive for doping drugs at the 2005 world championships in Helsinki," said RUSADA web.


 
"In January 2013, the IAAF handle this case to
RUSADA," he added.
   
Tatyana Kotova (36) won three consecutive silver medals in Helsinki and also won a bronze medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and in Athens four years ago.

She did not qualify for the Olympic team of Russia's entry to the London Olympics last year after only ranks sixth in the national championship.
