Rossi Sick and Cancel Test Participate

Valentino Rossi was forced to pass through a training session during the second day official MotoGP test at Sepang in 2011, on Wednesday (23/2/11). The reason is, "The Doctor" attacked sore throat, which makes the condition is not fit to participate in the second official test.

Ducati rider, who yesterday ranked ninth, was sick all night and getting treatment at the Clinica Mobile on Wednesday morning. After that, seven times MotoGP world champion was immediately returned to the hotel to rest.

"Valentino had a sore throat yesterday and this morning he woke up in a state of fever," said a spokesman for Ducati to Crash.net. "Many other people on this team who are sick.

"Valentino is not on track now. He's back to the hotel and will try to go on trial this afternoon, but we have to see it."

Formal training in Sepang this weekend is the second, after the February 1 to 3 last. This trial will end on Thursday (24/2/11), before they head to Qatar, to undergo final training at the same time prepare for a series premiere in the country on 18 March.

In the practice session at 16.00, Repsol Honda trio showed their dominance. This time shift Dani Pedrosa the fastest, followed by Casey Stoner, plus their team mate Andrea Dovizioso. The position is also common practice sessions at 12:00 and 14:00. This shows the Honda became the most favorite team, because in practice yesterday was, Stoner and Pedrosa became the ruler.
