Mexican boxer, Johnny Gonzalez, beat down his opponent from Japan, Hozumi Hasegawa, to become WBC featherweight champion, on Friday (04/08/2011).
Gonzalez launched a hard right hook that makes the referee had stopped the fight in the fourth round by making a TKO victory for Gonzalez.
In the initial round, Hasegawa Gonzalez had trouble with a blow to the face these opponents.
With this result, which is a boxer Gonzalez WBC number one result record 48 wins with 42 knockouts and seven defeats.
This is the first fight to retain the title for Hasegawa after captured it from the Mexican boxer, Juan Carlos Burgos, in November last year. He recorded 29 wins with 12 knockouts and four defeats.
