Juve remained their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 triumph at Siena taking them into a share of the Serie A lead with Cagliari and Udinese
Alessandro Matri made the only goal of the match in the 54th minute, although Antonio Conte's side were easy winners and dropped opportunities to prove that in the scoreline.
Juventus have now won their first 2 games of the season and will be confident of making it 3 out of three when they host Bologna on Wednesday. Siena, meanwhile, will visit face AS Roma on Thursday still looking for their 1st win upon their return to the top flight.
Pirlo took the plaudits for his performance in Juve's 4-1 win over Parma last weekend and he was in good form again for the Juve who were dressed in their dazzling pink away shirts.
In the 19th minute, he managed to leave no fewer than 3 Siena defenders standing with fantabulous control and dash into the penalty area, but he shot wide as one of the defenders recovered. Juventus aimed the lead in the 54th minute through Matri, though.
Giaccherini chased down a long ball out wide to the right and he pulled it inside toVucinic, who beat one defender and then pulled the ball back to Matri, who placed it past two Siena defenders on the goal-line.
The closest Siena came to levelling was in the 69th minute when Emanuele Calaio headed against the bar, but he was adjudged to be in an offside position anyway and the goal wouldn't have counted.
Juve could have won by a more comfortable margin, but Vidal blew a brilliant opportunity to score his 2nd goal in as many games when he lifted his shot over the crossbar from eight yards out after being put through by Alessandro Del Piero.
