Germany coach, Joachim Low insisted his team will not use the three players stand in the friendly against the Netherlands, Tuesday (15/11).
Low had experimented with the trio plays a central defender in the face of Ukraine, Saturday (11/11) ago. Experiment out of habit, because Der Panzer almost never played with such formations. The result, Germany could only draw 3-3 with Ukraine.
Although Low happy with what he saw, he seemed to be returning to the choice of four players behind when entertaining De Oranje in Hamburg.
"In the match against the Netherlands, we are not going to play three defenders," said Low said. "Overall, I am really very happy (with the performance against the Ukraine), even if I am the only one who think like this. Three goals are nesting in our net a little to do with the new system."
"We have a main system, which has worked well for several months, but we want to develop ourselves to become more flexible, and so unpredictable in the 2012 European Cup," he added.
Germany itself carries the target first win against the Netherlands since 1996.
