AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani revealed that his team proposal to borrow Carlos Tevez has rejected Manchester City. However, Milan will continue to try to catch up.
Tevez did not play again for the City since refused to play against Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage. Milan had submitted a proposal with an option to purchase lending permanently if his performance stunning. However, the proposal was eventually rejected City.
"For now, Manchester City did not agree with our offer for Tevez. If accepted, it will be good. If not, then he (Tevez) will not come to our club," said Galliani told Sky Italia after his team beat Siena 2-0 Sunday (18/12/2011).
Even so, Milan did not despair. They still will try to get players from Argentina until the transfer window deadline, January 31, 2012.
"We will meet with City again and try to convince them to 31 January. If we fail, then another striker will come or no one came at all," he said.
"Milan are just looking for the striker in the transfer market later after Antonio Cassano health problems," he added.
Milan is already reached a personal agreement with Tevez. However, the City as more owners decide for Tevez still under contract with the club. Now, Paris Saint Germain reportedly also interested in Tevez. Thus, Milan will struggle even harder to get Tevez.
