FC Schalke 04 officially get a new striker in January. Players are Hoffenheim striker Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke or more familiarly called Edu.
As reported by Bild, Edu headed Veltins Arena in January until the end of this season. Schalke also has a purchase option at the end of the season with a value of 5 million euros.
Edu himself has previously hinted would leave Hoffenheim. Edu want to enjoy a new challenge at another club, after playing for Hoffenheim in the last four years.
"I love Hoffenheim. They have made me grow into a real football player. But somehow I think it's time to move on," explained the player from Nigeria that.
The arrival of Edu would be more oppressive Schalke front lines. The reason, Schalke also has other attackers such as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Raul Gonzalez or Jefferson Farfan.
