Barcelona striker Lionel Messi said his team was familiar with the tight schedule and so they will prepare against Real Madrid, in the second leg Copa del Rey quarter-final at Camp Nou on Wednesday (01/25/2012).
In the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, Barcelona won 2-1. They then grabbed a 4-1 win over Malaga in the BBVA League continued on Sunday (1/22/2012).
"We're tired today, but we were tired after every game. We play every three day. We will prepare ourselves well for the match (against Real Madrid)," said Messi.
Thanks to the victory over Malaga, Barcelona sits in second place with 44 points, or lose five points from Madrid. According to Messi, with the remaining 19 games, Barcelona is still likely end the season as champions.
"There's still plenty of time before the end of the season and we'll keep trying," he said.
