Hope boxing fans to watch the big fight between Filipino super star Manny Pacquiao versus U.S. boxer, Floyd Mayweather again dashed. Promoter Bob Arum said the fight that should be held in May almost certainly canceled due to economic problems and inadequate facilities.
"The fight was off. But we have another plan to spread them out in November. Earlier we had planned in May, but it is not possible," said Arum, Thursday (19/01/2012).
With this cancellation, then Pacquiao's next fight will continue its schedule of upcoming June 9. Arum did not mention who the boxer is going to face Pacquiao. But some names, such as Timothy Bradley, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez and Lamont Peterson nominated.
Though it was designed in November, yet also guarantees Pacquiao fight could be held. Because after June Mayweather had an obligation to report the police and social workers serving a sentence for 90 days due to criminal acts of violence committed against her lover.
