Anelka arrived in Turin last night with a private jet, and is scheduled to undergo a medical today, Sunday (27/1).
"I'm very happy to be here," said the player shortly after landing.
Previously, Juve director Beppe Marotta confirmed that they were recruiting Anelka due to "emergency situations". They feel the need for extra attacker, but will not buy in January. Fernando Llorente, who has been contracted, will join next summer.
"He could be a good short term solution for us. At the end of the season we evaluated again, he can be an option for next season, if all goes well," said Marotta.
Juve actually have enough forward that is Mirko Vucinic, Sebastian Giovinco, Fabio Quagliarella, Alessandro Matri, and Niclas Bendtner.
In his career, Anelka has played in five countries and nine clubs. He started from Paris St Germain in 1996 and then to Arsenal, Real Madrid, and PSG again in 2000, then Liverpool, Manchester City, Fenerbahce, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, and Shanghai Shenhua.
