One of stadium that will be used in the 2014 World Cup venue was officially launched. The stadium is Castelao Arena, which is located in the Northeast of Brazil, the city of Fortaleza.
With Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, which will be opened on December 21, this two stadium will be the only stadium that meets FIFA deadline to be ready to be used as a venue Confederations Cup and World Cup 2014.
President Dilma Rousseff attended the ceremony in Castelao and declared the establishment of Castelao Arena as the result of hard work and desire tremendous success of the host.
"Brazil can win anything, won all the trophies in the field and build this incredible stadium," he said.
Castelao Arena will be stadium for three games in the Confederations Cup and six games in World Cup 2014.
FIFA also said it would provide additional time for Brasilia, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador to quickly finish revamping their stadium.
