Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, is likely to be sidelined until the end of the season with a shoulder injury. It is said the Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, after delivering Liverpool's 5-0 win over Swansea City at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, Sunday (02/17/2013).
In the game, Borini entered as a substitute who replaced Luis Suarez in the 78th minute. However, the Italian striker had only played for six minutes on the field after injuring Dislocated Shoulder.
The Incident began when Swansea defender, Kyle Bartley, dribble. Borini tries to steal the ball and tackle Bartley foot. However, Borini suddenly moaning in pain while holding his shoulder after falling manage. Fabio Borini was unable to continue the match. Liverpool side, through his manager giving answers while the fate of the young striker.
"Fabio Borini apparently suffered a dislocated shoulder and may be sidelined until the end of the season. Gets the same injury when he was playing for Chelsea. This is a major blow to us," said Rodgers told the BBC.
This season, Borini just appeared 16 times with Liverpool. In October last year, Borini ankle injury that forced him to miss three months.
