Former Manchester City defender, Danny Mills, believes Roberto Mancini could be fired if his side out of the FA Cup against Leeds, Sunday.
In the Premier League, City struggle to defense title is also considered very difficult because 12 points behind league leaders Manchester United.
"Mancini under pressure, Seems they have foiled their chance to defend the title. You can imagine what will happen if they are out of the FA Cup against Leeds. I think Roberto Mancini will go." said Mills
With Mancini, Man City won the English league for the first time since 44 years last season, but this year faces a tough battle with their neighbors, United.
Last week City surprisingly lost 3-1 at Southampton while United managed to beat Everton to make the Red devil comfortably at the top.
"Manchester United winning 12 points, it's too far, I think Mancini will go in the summer if they do not win the league." said Mills.
"But, if they fail in the FA Cup this weekend, I can see the club's owners will make decisions more quickly."
"There is a rumbling of discontent in the City, from the outside it looks all nice and calm, but underneath there is a bubble ready to explode."
"They have brought Txiki Begiristain and club owners seem to intend to create a model of Barcelona. They want to succeed and that means Mancini under pressure, especially after they failed miserably in the Champions League."
In the Champions League qualification, City never win over Real Madrid, Ajax and Borussia Dortmund or do not qualify for the Europa League because it is located at the bottom of the standings in Group D.
