Federation International Automobile, FIA, confirmed that the 2013 Formula 1 calendar only contains the 19 series races. This occurred after an attempt to hold a 20 series failed to materialize.
Previously, the agency is changing the rules of the F1 calendar while at the end of last year to 20, after plans to hold an event in New Jersey pending. However, venues such as Portugal, Turkey or Austria, which will be linked successor, did not reach an agreement with the F1.
On Friday (03/08/2013), the FIA ensure that no more additional races this season that the schedule remains 19 series. The opening race of the new season will take place in Australia next week.
