Antonio Cassano has returned to practice with Inter Milan after a dispute with coach Andrea Stramaccioni. Although Cassano had apologized, he still fined.
Cassano fight with Stramaccioni after the end of a training session on Friday (01/03/2013) then. Both were reportedly involved argument and push each other, until Dejan Stankovic and Ivan Cordoba had to intervene them.
Because of the incident, Cassano was not played in the match against Catania last weekend. Without Cassano, Inter still win by a score of 3-2.
Monday (03/04/2013), Cassano has returned to training. In front of all team members, he expressed his apology for the incident with Stramaccioni.
However, Cassano was not just unpunished. Inter impose a fine of 40 thousand euros to the 30-year-old striker.
Football Italia reports Cassano will enter Nerazzurri squad in the Europa League match against Tottenham Hotspur, the middle of this week. However, it is unclear whether he will be a starter or a backup.
