Boxing Day match between Arsenal Vs Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium had to be postponed up to 24 hours ahead of schedule because of industrial action demonstration in London on December 26.
Virtually the entire club's Premier League matches will undergo Boxing Day on December 26, or the day after Christmas. However, the match Arsenal vs Wolves had changed to a day after, or on December 27, in order to avoid disturbances due to these demonstrations.
Demonstration that it is still possible cancellation occurs, but in order to anticipate things that are not desired, Arsenal choose prepare for all possibilities sooner.
Apart from Arsenal, Chelsea's match versus Fulham at Stamford Bridge Stadium possibility postponed due to similar problem.
