Anton Zingarevich buy shares in Reading

Again, businessmen from Russia to invest in English football. Thames Sports Investment (TSI) which established the Russian businessman, Anton Zingarevich, bought a majority stake Championship Division club, Reading.


Reading is now only second to the League Championship standings (second in the Premier League caste). That is, this club have a great opportunity for promotion to the Premier League next season. Moreover, TSI promised to bring in quality players to strengthen the team.

Reading has long been owned by John Madejski. However, he later agreed to sell majority stake to the Zingarevich
family.

"The financial support from TSI aims to enable the club to get the best players," the statement TSI and added that the deal will be completed in March.

Previously, the family wants to buy Everton Zingarevich. However, the process seems complicated, so they backed the deal.

No much is known of Anton Zingarevich. Only, he was the son of timber businessman, Boris Zingarevich. However, a few media mentions, Anton had studied at university in Reading.

While the Madejski became rich from the Auto Trader magazine. He became chairman of Reading in more than two decades. In 1998, he renovated the 25,000-capacity stadium to the club seats. And, the name of the stadium that was later bear his name, Madejski.
