The Spaniard, Rafael Nadal, will face Roger Federer in Indian Wells semi-finals today. Nadal, who is chasing his first title this year, advanced to the semifinal beat, David Nalbandian, 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, Friday.
"The game is very difficult," Nadal said. "I look a little nervous. This is an important victory because I was able to escape semifinal."
Nadal and Federer meeting is 28 times for both players. Nadal beat Federer in 18 games. "We have met 27 times and this is the first time in Indian Wells," Nadal said.
Federer already qualified for the semifinal after eliminating other Argentine players, Juan Martin del Potro, 6-3, 6-2.
