Shah Rukh Khan Buy Dempo FC

Shah Rukh Khan seems to want to emulate the success Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. After achieving success with his own cricket club, Kolkata Knight Riders, who managed to win a fifth Indian Premier League, last week, Bollywood actor will expand its business in the sports field with plans to buy shares of one of India's oldest football club, Dempo FC.

As reported by The Hindu, one of the media in India, Khan is reported to have met and begun negotiations with the owner of Dempo, Srinivas Dempo, a few weeks ago. These negotiations come to an agreement that he could control half of the total shares with a value Dempo 300 million rupees and will soon be inaugurated in one or two weeks.

"The talks continued and he has met with Dempo management, including the owner, some time ago, but has not been confirmed. Something needs to be done before an agreement is reached," said a source close to the club.

The remaining 50 percent stake is believed to be purchased a number of other parties, whether individuals such as a cricketer and a number of unnamed companies. Dempo also mentioned to exploit the popularity of club.
