"We received a proposal from Barcelona that they want to play in Bangladesh in August," said President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Salahuddin told reporters on Wednesday (30/01/2013).
Barcelona are going to do a tour to Asia later in August as part of the pre-season preparations. Apparently, Bangladesh became one of the places.
"They asked for three million euros as paid and we are now considering to find the funds. Would be good news if we can bring them to play here," said Salahuddin.
Although not developed good football, but football fans in Bangladesh very much. The majority of the country's idolized Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Previously, the biggest game in Bangladesh is a friendly match between Argentina vs Nigeria. In the game, Lionel Messi et al beat Nigeria 3-1.
