Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng asks British Prime Minister to return disburse funds for the British basketball team.
Deng sent a letter to Prime Minister David cameron relating to the elimination of funding for the UK basketball team for the Olympics Rio de janeiro 2016. This means that the UK will miss the basketball branch in Rio.
In his letter, Deng asked Cameron to consider the disbursement of funds for the development of the sport.
"How can we motivate children to keep playing basketball, while they now know this without purpose? There will be no British teams, there is no dream (to play) in the Olympics, there is no purpose. '
British basketball team qualified for the 2012 London Olympics because of home advantage.
