The future of Victor Valdes in the Barcelona just one and a half seasons. Arsenal prepared to buy Valdes in the summer of 2013.
The Sun reported, the Gunners are willing to give a bid of 10 million pounds, that Barcelona want to take Valdes at the end of this season.
Because Valdes contract in the Barcelona will expire in June 2014, it is likely that the 31-year-old goalkeeper resigned in mid-2013. Because, Barcelona will get fresh funds if there are other clubs who want to buy Valdes at the end of the season.
This is different if Barcelona Valdes insists retain until his contract expired. If that is done, then in December 2013, the club who are interested to Valdes allowed to sign free Valdes in July 2014.
At the end of last year, Valdes decided not to renew his contract at Barcelona. Barcelona had already find a replacement for Valdes, despite the club's still hope Valdes change his mind to remain in Barcelona for much longer.
