By penalty shootout, Burkina Faso rid Ghana in the Africa Cup 2013 semifinals. Furthermore, they will challenge Nigeria in the Africa Cup 2013 Final.
In the match at the Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit, on Wednesday (02/06/2013), Ghana had a penalty in the 12th minute. The penalty stemmed from Saidou Panandetiguiri violations against Christian Atsu.
