Chelsea certainly will visit Indonesia in the series Asia pre-season tour in 2013. Three times Premier League champions will held match on 25 July.
Quoted from the club's official website, Chelsea announced the team will play Indonesia XI at Bung Karno Stadium, duel titled BNI Cup.
Indonesia became the third country for the Blues in Asian tour this time. Earlier, the West London team's first visit to Bangkok, Thailand on July 17 and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 21.
Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay admitted his club enthusiastically look forward to first visit to Indonesia.
"South-east Asia remains home to an ever-growing and passionate Chelsea FC support and it gives me great pleasure that we will again be able to experience that wonderful hospitality.
"In particular I look forward to visiting Indonesia for the first time, a country where we have an extensive fan base that is eager to see Chelsea play.
"I am sure we will face strong opposition in packed stadiums as we celebrate the successes of some of our important regional partners, and we will once again leave an important legacy in terms of the community work we conduct during the tour and for long afterwards."
With this announcement, Chelsea became the third European clubs confirmed to visit Indonesia after Arsenal and Hamburg SV.
