Michael Jordan 50th Birthday

Legendary basketball player, Michael Jordan Turns 50 Years Old on February 17, 2013. For that, restaurant owned by Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan's Steak House will serve a menu that represents the stages of Michael life.

The menu theme of Michael Jordan will be presented on February 17, 2013 to 20 guests in three branches of Michael Jordan Steakhouse, New York, Chicago, and Connecticut.


 
As reported by The Daily Meal (02/03/2013), Michael Jordan Steak Houses will present five wine dinner menu that will take guests on
50 years journey of life and career.

To enjoy this
Michael Jordan special menu you had to spend $ 125. Rows menu consists of Shrimp Cocktail which represents Michael's childhood in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Wilmington, Nort Carolina. Pan-roasted Sea Scallop with Grits that describes his college years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

While the
"Maxwell Street"-style Duroc Pork Tenderloin with fries representing his career at the Chicago Bulls. Dry-aged Wagyu rib-eye steak to remember a whole basketball career.

For dessert,
Goat Cheese Custard with Spiced Cherries and Sea Salt Caramel, inspired from the life after retirement to play basketball. Playing golf, doing charity, and opened a restaurant. In addition, 15 wine and three selected NBA basketball signed by Michael will be auctioned in the dinner.

  1. If the ABA had the TV exposure that the NBA had, it would have been the NBA merging with the ABA. The ABA had a lot of talented players, really made the game exciting. I would have love to see Michael Jordan with the original ABA players and teams.
