Cesc Fabregas reminded that AC Milan is not an opponent who will be easily conquered. To be able to win over the Rossoneri, Barcelona must be in 100% condition.
The first match Milan vs Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 will be held at the San Siro on Wednesday (02/20/2013). With a squad that belongs and a long history of meeting between the two teams, Barca is more favored in a position to get away.
However, Fabregas said that will not be easy. "It certainly will be hard to face Milan. We should be at 100% if we want ourselves in a good position for the second leg," Fabregas said in Marca and was quoted by the Italian Football.
"The match with Milan was key because we wanted to go to Wembley (the convening final game.) We believe that they will be a difficult rival because the players and the history they have," said the 25-year midfielder.
Last season, Milan and Barcelona are also confronted the group phase and the last eight of the Champions League. In four meetings, Barca picking two victories, while the other two matches ending with a draw.
Total of 13 meetings in European competition, Barcelona won six victories, Milan gets three wins and four draws.
