Beloved Diego Maradona, Victoria Ojeda, gave birth to a baby boy named Diego Fernando. Argentine football legend now expected to fly to Buenos Aires and meet his son.
"He is Diego, with a large head and bushy hair," said Alfredo Cahe, doctors who have long struggled with Maradona, told to journalist outside Buenos Aires clinic, where Ojeda gave birth on Wednesday night. "My feeling that Diego will soon come."
Maradona (52) works in Dubai and Ojeda's lawyer, Jorge Auruccio, said he did not know whether Maradona will fly to Argentina to meet Diego Fernando, who was born weighing 3.2 pounds.
Pregnancy triggers chaos in the social networking media between Ojeda (35) and ex-wife of Maradona, Claudia Villafane, and his daughters Dalma and Giannina.
In the period of the 1980s, while still playing at Italian club Napoli, Maradona became the father of the boy, named Diego Jr., who according to Maradona, son born of a relationship that only lasted for one day.
Maradona, who is touted as the most talented footballer in history, currently serves as the honorary ambassador of sports in Dubai since September, less than two months after he was fired United Arab Emirates club Al Wasl.
