Tyson Chandler became a star of New York Knicks victory over the Detroit Pistons. He carved a special note in the rebound category.
In a match which his team won by a score of 99-85, on Monday (04/02/2013), 30-year-old center made 20 rebounds. What is special is that he also did in the previous two games in a row.
Achieving that makes Chandler became the first Knicks player who produced 20 rebounds three times in succession since the legendary Willis Reed did in December 1969.
In addition to Chandler, another Knicks star also performed brilliantly is Carmelo Anthony, who became the top scorer with 27 points. The team was also added their win streak to five times in a row.
Meanwhile, LeBron James and Chris Bosh contributed a great deal to bring his team, Miami Heat, beat their guests, Charlotte Bobcats, with a score of 99-94. James recorded 31 points, Bosh added 23.
Dwayne Wade played well by contributing 20 points plus 12 rebounds. For the Heat it was their ninth of the last 10 home games this season. As for the Bobcats, it was their fourth defeat in a row, or that all 12 of theirlast 14 games.
