Veteran Argentine tennis player David Nalbandian, failed to continue their work in the arena of the Australian Open. Seed-27 was not able to finish the second round match on Thursday (20/1/11), because of illness, while behind 1-6, 0-6, 0-2 of Lithuania Richard Berankis player.
Apparently, ill Nalbandian came after he fought until the end against Lleyton Hewitt in the first round on Tuesday (18/1/11). At that time (as opposed to Hewitt), Nalbandian had to play five sets in the tempo almost 5 hours.
Not like when I met Hewitt, Nalbandian greatness did not look when meeting Berankis. No wonder if he's easily dilibas opponent who is ranked 95th world.
In 2010, the appearance Nalbandian never membekapnya maximum because of injury. He must break from the arena tour for two months, due to a hamstring injury. Whereas in 2009, Nalbandian was also forced to rest for nine months following a thigh Pangkah operation.
After beating Nalbandian, Berankis will face serious opponent. In the last 32 of the later, on Saturday (22/1/11), he meets seventh seed from Spain, David Ferrer.
