Sad news re-hit British football. After the departure of Gary Speed, who died on Novermber ago, on Monday (2 / 1), Gary Ablett has reportedly died.
Men's full name Ian Gareth Ablett, who was born in Liverpool had died at the age of 46 years. Previously, during the 16 months he struggled against the disease Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer that attacks white blood cells in the human body.
During active as player, Ablett spent nine years of his career at Liverpool (1983-1992). He appeared in 109 games and scored one goal for the Reds. After strengthen Liverpool, Ablett had an adventure in some English clubs like Everton, Sheffield United and Birmingham City.
Ablett also known as a versatile defender. He could play equally well at left back or central defender. Before he died, Ablett status as one of the club's coaching staff in the Division Championship, Ipswich Town.
