Rossi Optimistic about Ducati Opportunities

Valentino Rossi's feeling more optimistic about opportunities in the series opener Ducati MotoGP 2011 in Qatar, March 20. "The Doctor" suggests that after initial training at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, on Sunday (13/3/11), although only ranked eighth.

"Indeed, we only ranked eight, so it must make improvements in order to perform optimally. But we have some ideas and modifications that will be tested tomorrow (today)."

Italian rider admitted, this Monday's workout will be very crucial, because the final preparations before the new season rolling this weekend. Even so, winning nine titles this motor racing remains optimistic, Ducati still to be reckoned with, in addition to Honda and Yamaha.

"Sure, tomorrow is an important day because the series opener next weekend," said Rossi.

"We must strive for better. But I am more happy than with what happened in Sepang, since we are only 0.7 seconds left. The distance of all riders are very close."
