Rossi is still "blind" about Silverstone

This weekend, Valentino Rossi will undergo a fairly difficult mission when fighting in the British GP. The reason is, "The Doctor" have to fight in the arena that he did not know well, because he was "blind" to the circuit.

Yes, Rossi already have experience in MotoGP racing event. But at the Silverstone Circuit, seven times MotoGP world champion is almost no experience because he missed last season following a broken leg injury that happened in previous series, in Mugello. So, this 33-year-old rider will be the only rider in MotoGP who appeared without experience at Silverstone. 

Actually, there are two names which is a rookie MotoGP, namely Cal Crutchlow and Karel Abraham, who could be included categories have no experience with this bike (MotoGP). But they've never felt full competition in the circuit is due to appear in WSBK and Moto2. Compare with Rossi, who only a few felt the track last month in the event opening a new pit and paddock - Silverstone recently renovated - in which he only tried a few laps, it was using a street bike (not a MotoGP bike.) 

"Silverstone is a great track, a difficult and rather quickly. I will start on Friday with a little experience because I did not join the race there last year," said the Ducati rider mainstay of this. "I never ride a MotoGP bike there, although I can complete about 20 laps there with motor sport in 1198. 

"I had to learn the track quickly and as much as possible, because this is very technical, with a few dark spots in which to take the right path becomes very important. Of course we will also work to adjust the motor.
"However, we increasingly understand the set GP11, and Ducati continues to develop. There's still work to be done, but it is clear that the areas which should be addressed and we are all focus to fix it." 

In its inaugural season with Ducati in 2011, the performance is not optimal Rossi. Nevertheless, the former Honda and Yamaha rider has been successful on the podium when finishing in the top three in the fourth series at Le Mans, France, 15 May. Now he is in fifth position in the standings, five adrift of the Repsol Honda rider Andrea Dovizioso, on the order of three. 

At Silverstone, Rossi Dani Pedrosa has a great opportunity shift from fourth, because the Spanish rivals certainly absent. Pedrosa still undergoing post-operative recovery period right collarbone due to an accident at Le Mans, having touched with Marco Simoncelli.
