Tottenham Hotspur manager claimed to be interested Demba Ba performance. Newcastle United striker this season has become a byword for sharp look with 15 goals scored in the Premier League.
The Magpies themselves lucky enough to contract Ba from West Ham United this summer. Because, Newcastle does not need any money poured by the Senegalese striker.
"Demba Ba has done something great. Now, all eyes were on him. A lot of clubs who can get it years ago. Credit is more to Alan Pardew who got him," said Redknapp.
"They (Newscatle) says there is a clause in the contract Ba release. We just want to know what it's worth," he continued.
Redknapp seemed to want to buy the Ba release clause in Newcastle. It is indeed rare in the UK. Because, only in Spain, each player has a release clause if the contract comes an offer from another club listed for contracted players.
