Wladimir Klitschko Will Return In May

Heavyweight boxing world champion Wladimir Klitschko will fight back in May. Ukrainian boxer will be challenged by Francesco Pianeta.

Duel Klitschko versus Pianeta planned to be held on May 4, 2013 in Mannheim, Germany. Klitschko familiar with Pianeta because his candidate opponent have become his sparring partner last year.


 
Klitschko, now aged 36 years, holds a record of 59 wins (50 knockouts) and three defeats. Last fight heavyweight champion IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA was beat Mariusz Wach, in November last year.

"I have great respect Pianeta because he was young and had a fighting spirit," said Klitschko was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Pianeta, Italian-born boxer in Germany, holds a record of 28 wins (15 knockouts) and a draw. He's eight years younger than Klitschko.

"I had a moment to be his sparring partner last year and I know where his weaknesses and how to maximize it," said Pianeta.

"I understand a lot of what I regard as an underdog and that's okay. But, I will beat Klitschko and change the world of boxing," he said with confidence.
