Russia won a dramatic victory after their doubles, Svetlana Kuznetsova / Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova defeated the French doubles, Alize Cornet / Julie Coin in two sets 7-6 (4) 6-0.
Russia managed to get out of critical condition with menyemakan position 2-2 by winning two Tungga number that competed on Sunday.
