Manny Pacquiao became lieutenant colonel

Philippine military confers the rank of lieutenant colonel reservist to the world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has been registered as a reservist with the rank of sergeant in 2006. He then received a promotion to sergeant major in 2009.
