Bahrain GP dropped from 2011

Federation International Automobile (FIA) has officially confirmed that the Bahrain Grand Prix dropped from Formula 1 2011 season calendar. Thus, at this season there would be only 19 of the most prestigious racing series in the world.

Thus, the schedule this season will be the same again. According to the World Motor Sport Council, the Indian GP will be back on schedule, to 30 October, and competition racing "pole" will end in Brazil on 27 November.

Earlier this month, the FIA declared its support to stay put Bahrain in the F1 calendar, although it would disrupt the overall schedule. This makes F1 teams reject it, because the competition will be completed December 11. But now, everything will go according to plan.

Crossed this season does not mean that Bahrain had left the F1. Next year, Bahrain will go back into the F1 calendar, and the FIA has given place to the Sakhir circuit to be the series 2012 season opener.
