Dani Pedrosa will undergo another operation on the right collarbone. This was done in an effort to try to speed up the recovery process of the injury last month.
Repsol Honda rider suffered the injury due to an accident at the Circuit Le Mans, France, 15 May, after hitting the back of the motorcycle rider Honda Gresini, Marco Simoncelli. Despite surgery, Pedrosa has not been fit condition to race again so that the Spaniard has been sidelined in the GP of Catalunya and the UK.
There is a possibility Pedrosa will also be absent again in the Dutch Grand Prix on 25 June. Well, to anticipate this, back surgery done so that Pedrosa had a chance to race again for the sake of maintaining a target up to be world champion 2011.
Thursday (06/16/2011), announced that Pedrosa's Honda team will undergo the action (operation). Nevertheless, there has been no confirmation of the details about it.
"During the rehabilitation process several weeks ago, a very small fragment of bone to shift. Therefore, to accelerate the healing process, the team doctor will do a process to reconnect the fragments," Honda said in a statement.
